Janel Snider, DES

Janel has vast experience that she brings to the “e” team. From project managing at a youth development charity in Tanzania, to working as a Marketing Communications Coordinator at Garmin International, and producing a number of theatre projects, Janel’s can-do attitude leads her to success everywhere she goes. In her time at "e" she has excelled at remote work and location activations [all this before COVID], leading teams and flying anywhere she is asked to go. 

Janel recently completed her certification as a Digital Event Strategist (DES) through PCMA and the Digital Experience Institute! With thanks to Meetings and Conventions Calgary for funding her scholarship, Janel completed a 5 week intensive training in all things Digital Events! From how to identify you program's ROI to building engaging content, Janel is our newly minted resident expert. She is also a graduate of the Event Management Certificate Program at Mount Royal University. Janel is a passionate, creative and skilled event and conference professional, she is also a joy to be around!
