“If people never did silly things nothing intelligent would ever get done” – Ludwig Wittgenstein
Trina did a scholastic tour of Western Canada’s towns and smaller cities, starting in Okotoks, then on to Kamloops and Saskatoon, obtaining a Diploma in Event and Convention Management and Certificate in Television and Radio Broadcasting along the way. Prior to joining us, she planned and executed events with the Canadian Heavy Oil Association here in Calgary.
Some of Trina’s note worthy addictions include smelling fabric softener every time she’s in the laundry isle, being “that person” who pops all the bubbles in bubble wrap and chasing her (unofficial “e” mascot) dog, Huxley around the house 2-3 times daily. At the office, she’s equally addicted to working with clients, vendors, partners, and colleagues to pull together the perfect conference, meeting, or event.
Trina prides herself on saying it like it is, sometimes invoking the timeless wisdom of Degrassi High or one of the other childhood favourites that she has committed to memory. And while she’s usually a straight-shooter, if you get a phone call asking if your refrigerator is running—you’ll know the culprit.
