It is true that birthdays always bring some mixed emotions, especially as some of us have passed some of the “big ones” recently - but I think we can all agree that a 21st birthday is a birthday with nothing but excitement, limited inhibitions, happiness, aspirations and the anticipation of a lot of FUN!
21. The year that we are finally drinking age in the United States. Funny that has always been a thing, since across the country we’ve been drinking since 18 and 19 legally. But for some reason, crossing the threshold to 21 and being legal “everywhere”, seems to be the cause of great celebration.
So I like to think that as e=mc² events turns 21, we too can look at this year with excitement, limited inhibitions, happiness, aspirations and the anticipation of a lot of FUN!
Looking ahead, it certainly seems this will be the case. We have lots of great opportunities ahead which include bringing back our past events that have been dormant during the pandemic, traveling to new event destinations across North America and Europe, taking our broadcast virtual learnings and bringing them forward to our live events, and building out our team across the country.
We look forward to creating emotional connections with our live audiences. We look forward to creating engaging, inspiring and motivational experiences for all of our clients and in turn being engaged, inspired and motivated ourselves.
In all of my blogs I speak to the strength of our team and this blog is no different. I do not celebrate this birthday alone. I celebrate this birthday with incredible team members across the country, who I am honoured to call colleagues and friends.
We lift each other up. We push each other to become better versions of ourselves. We lean on each other. We stretch the boundaries of the art of the possible. We do this with a tremendous sense of pride in what we do, and of who we are.
In this 21st year - we have a lot to celebrate.
So now that we are “legal everywhere” - I say watch out world, we’re all about to have a lot of fun!!
