Andrea [AJ] is our highly organized and results-driven Director of Experience and Production. She has had a longstanding career in the events industry, focusing her attention on event and production management.
AJ is a logical thinker with a willingness to try new things. She enthusiastically focuses on driving results and leading her team to success through guiding best practices, troubleshooting when necessary, and supporting her team members along the way.
AJ studied Event Management at NAIT and Theatre Production at MacEwan University. Her equally logistical and creative brain led her into the world of events where she has worked as an Event Manager, a Stage Manager, a Production Manager, and the Director of Event Operations at a professional sports and live entertainment organization.
In her current role, AJ leads the experience team as a coach and a mentor. She is responsible for assigning project teams for national clients, multi-city events, and mixed element projects. She develops and supports individual growth plans for professional development and she is involved in hiring new team members, and supports their onboarding and training. AJ diligently prioritizes health & safety in all aspects of the event process and she ensures projects meet the requirements for quality, creativity and profitability.
When AJ isn’t leading our team to greatness, she can often be found golfing, playing New York Times games [like Wordle], or walking her two dogs, Olive and Phillip. AJ currently sits on the ILEA Canada - Edmonton Chapter board of directors.
