Why do I need a Producer as well as an AV provider for my virtual event?
We are not at AV company, we are best friends with AV companies.
Your AV company provides an incredibly valuable service when creating a virtual or hybrid production. Navigating the required technology and streaming things live, it's a large component that needs a dedicated producer to keep things on track, for you.
It takes a large team to produce a virtual event and a producer is integral in the strategy. Producers tie all the pieces together to create a strategically designed, creatively scripted show with cohesive content. We ensure speakers and entertainers are comfortable and rehearsed.
We ensure dynamic intros, transitions and musical segments to keep up the energy.
We stage manage live and call the cues.
We troubleshoot and manage your best interest, all the details, all the suppliers, you, and your financial commitment to your event.
AV companies are essential to the process; to really create magical moments that resonate, bring in an "e" producer.
What platform should I use? Which do you recommend?
We are "Platform & Supplier Agnostic". This means that we do not own or have a partnership or commercial agreement with any one platform or supplier. We are able to offer you the best recommendation of virtual platforms based on your needs. We are knowledgable about hundreds of options and we use a "platform grid" to track and compare offerings, which we update as we learn.
Platforms adapt and change daily, we take care of the research and ensure you are getting what you need within your budget and aligned with your corporate security and IT teams.
How much does a virtual event cost?
Virtual, digital, and broadcast events take as much time for your event planner or producer to create, manage and deliver as in-person events.
A good rule of thumb is that a virtual event should be budgeted the same as an in-person event, minus food and beverage costs [if you are not providing and delivering it]. The platform becomes your venue costs and your technical costs are equal to in-person events if you are using any studio space at all.
There are still large teams of experts required to execute virtual events and what you might have spent on decor, equipment and signage is now being used for health & safety, content creation, one-on-one onboarding sessions with speakers, internet connection testing, and platform customizing.
For hybrid, take your in-person event budget and add a virtual event budget - a true hybrid event takes two teams. We can help you with this! We create budgets and manage your financials within that budget.
