Girl Power Hour is an annual fund and awareness raising luncheon that focuses on adolescent mental health. In 2020, more than ever, it was extremely important to educate, raise awareness, and raise funds for this vital issue. We created an accessible and easy to use virtual platform and program filled with educational content, increasing the reach to people who would not otherwise be able to attend this impactful event.

  • The Experience

    2020 offered an opportunity to transform the annual Girl Power Hour luncheon into a virtual experience and increase awareness.


    We worked with the client and a marketing company to custom brand a website and digital platform for 2020 and beyond. The website features clean branding, speaker bios, information about the Lionheart Foundation, a live auction link, a donation button and a viewing window for the live broadcast.


    The program highlighted the Foundation, why awareness and funding is important, along with two keynotes about mental health in COVID times. The featured therapists also spoke on a panel with host Dave Kelly offering amazing insights into how to parent during a pandemic and support adolescent mental health. Guests were encouraged to donate if they could, or simply watch, learn and pass the information along to those that could benefit. We offered a social media giveaway encouraging guests to post themselves watching the event, driving traffic to the event, and allowing us to see the reach of the message live.


    The broadcast lived on the website for a year allowing the content to continue to reach to those who need it, or those who can help.
