We partnered with the Calgary Urban Project Society [CUPS] in 2005 to create, design and produce their annual premier fundraiser. We created an event template that was unique at the time for the desired audience - an annual concert series with artists that believed in their organization. We implemented innovative fundraising ideas that elevated the revenues year after year.

The Experience

Calgary Urban Projects Society’s glamorous annual fundraiser featured a Moonlight Lounge. Held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Calgary it was an intimate event in which guests enjoyed an evening of music, food, cocktails, and presentations; all for an incredible cause.

The experience began prior to the evening with the featured artist [Jann Arden] visiting the children of CUPS who were encouraged to bring their favourite childhood book to read.

The evening featured a cocktail hour with unique fundraising opportunities as guests and sponsors mingled together. Guests were then ushered into a multi tiered [physically and financially tiered] supper-club setting where poignant messaging was delivered and award winning recording artist Jann Arden closed out the evening.
Whizbang Moment

The event culminated with an emotionally presented, live choreographed performance by Jann Arden as a feature video, filmed and edited that same day on location. Needless to say as eyes teared up, wallets opened.
