“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss
As an Event Manager, Katy loves the chaotic energy and organized chaos during an event and enjoys creating experiences that resonate with the audience and achieve a client’s ultimate goal, no matter what that may be.
Katy’s professional background is in Public Relations with a focus on live event experiences, and she’s had the opportunity to work on multiple dynamic projects in the lifestyle, hospitality, corporate, and non-profit sectors across North America.
She’s been described as an urban hippy marching to the beat of her own drum (no word yet if she actually plays drums, stay tuned). She has yet to meet a pizza she didn’t like, thinks Dad jokes are super duper awesome, and is a notorious long-distance runner – mostly to combat her love of food (it’s not unusual to see her about town, checking out the latest and greatest in the city’s culinary landscape). Also, if you plan to go out and about with Katy be prepared to network, she encounters people she knows everywhere she goes!

“I love creating an experience for people that leaves a lasting impression. Events that resonate and connect with people. I love being able to bring big creative ideas to life. Sometimes I refer to them as ‘cultural spectacles.”
